Amnesty Arms Trade Name Tunnels

Boffswana teamed up with M&C Saatchi Sydney and their client Amnesty International to create a highly interactive ‘Arms Trade Petition’.

The user is asked to sign their name using a pen or keyboard, which generates a tunnel beneath a military camp where child soldiers are being forced into violence. The tunnel allows a child soldier to escape this horrific environment. Once complete the user can fill out their details to complete the petition, then share their views and experience via Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus.

The campaign also included an iPad version of the signing experience for Amnesty International representatives to approach people out on the street to raise awareness and also sign the petition electronically. It was also used during a live event at Federation Square, where names were projected onto the big screen as users signed the petition.
