Spinifex Group (LA) approached me to help develop a unique mobile HTML5 web application that utilised web sockets and RFID technology to deliver location based content for Nissan USA’s booth at the 2014 International Motor Show in Detroit.

Users were handed a set of headphones with embedded RFID technology, and instructed to log into a mobile HTML5 web application being delivered over the booths own WIFI network.

As users approached the cars and interactive displays around the booth, highly interactive HTML5 content would be delivered to their phones web browser based on their location within the space.

The experience also included a second screen experience that allowed users to use their phones as game controllers to race a GTR around a track.
